Privacy Policy

Overview

Sollsolly is a local-first Windows application. By design, the vast majority of processing happens on your machine. This policy explains what little data we do collect, why, and how.

What we collect

Website visitors

Standard server logs (IP address, browser, page visited, timestamp) via Vercel. No persistent tracking. No cookies beyond session. Google Analytics and Mixpanel are not used.

App users

License key status is stored locally in Windows Credential Manager. No voice data, no transcriptions, and no dictation history are stored on our servers. App telemetry is off by default — if you opt in, we collect crash reports and anonymised feature usage only.

What we don't collect

• Your voice recordings
• Your transcribed text
• Your dictation history (unless you turn on History, which stores locally only)
• Your API keys (stored in Windows Credential Manager, never transmitted to us)
• Any personally identifiable information beyond your email for license management

Lemon Squeezy (payment processor)

We use Lemon Squeezy as our merchant of record. When you purchase, Lemon Squeezy collects and processes your payment information. We receive your email and license key status. We never see your card details. Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy applies to payment data.

Third-party API providers

If you configure a cloud provider (OpenAI, Groq, OpenRouter) in a Mode, your voice data is sent directly from the app on your machine to that provider using your own API key. We are not in this data flow. The provider's privacy policy applies.

Data retention

We retain your email and license status for as long as your license is active. You can request deletion by emailing us — we'll remove your email from our records within 7 business days.
